happy birthday edward!

Edward, our faithful and ever snoring pug, turned 8 years old yesterday. We tried to throw him a party although he couldn't stay awake for it. One of his strong-suites is that he is able to sleep 23 hours straight and still feel tired after waking up. Our life wouldn't be as exciting without him! Heres to many more years for the best pug ever, Edward!

beautiful day....beautiful bride!

Because it was so perfect outside this past Sunday, a handful of us went to the U campus and downtown near the Sonearch Bridge in St. Paul! We had a few model brides, some yummy light to work with, and brides willing to do anything; it was great. Keeley (the "bride" below) was as natural with gorgeous red hair and a contagious smile; she hadn't met her "groom" until they about 15 minutes before the shoot started. For not knowing each other they sure had some chemistry on camera! The dress she was wearing Ruth (www.happilyeverafterphoto.com) found at Sac's for $60.00. I think she might need to do my shopping from now on!

welcome baby peyton!

This little guy has a full head of hair and 2 beautiful blue eyes! Unfortunately we couldn't get him to fall asleep during the session but his cuteness prevailed to get some good shots anways!


He L.O.V.E.S. his mommy and daddy; especially when his daddy whispers to him to help him calm down!

This little guy has bright blue eye and is bound to be a ladies man when he grows up---he loves the touch of his Mommy & Daddy. He isn't a fan of being naked, so we did the whole shoot with some cute tee's to choose from! Katie and Lee have been blessed with this little guy and love him very much.

meah + tutu = amazing 6 months photo shoot

I had the greatest time with Meah (and her mommy Lindsay) in downtown Hudson last week. Meah just turned 6 months old and can sit up all on her own so we definately too advantage of it---she loves to be naked and LOVED when we put the biggest, fluffiest, tutu on her! At first she wasn't so sure about it, but I think she figured out that wearing something so pink and fluffy must make her a princess! She wasn't too happy when it came time to take it off...


Meah has the biggest smile and huge blue eyes that grab your attention---she is a dream to shoot!

Merodie & Clint got married in the foothills of the mountains in Grass Valley, CA; just a perfect place for such an adventurous couple. Their ceremony was held on the very ranch they had met at while counseling troubled youth a few years ago. Everything about their weekend was focused on their love for Northern California and their love for eachother; filled with hikes, card playing, chatting, sitting around the fire, & catching up with family and friends. Everyone walked away blessed!
